Chemistry 12 is a continuation of the material learned in Chemistry 11. Much like the "mole" was to Chemistry 11, a concept called "equilibrium" will be a fundamental concept in Chemistry 12. This course will involve considerably more theory than Chemistry 11, therefore making it a substantially more challenging course.
Students taking this course should have achieved a minimum of a "B" grade in Chemistry 11 and also have completed Pre-Calculus 11.
The following will be developed throughout this course:
- Problem-solving skills
- Organizational skills
- Application of knowledge (sometimes in ways that may not have been directly taught)
- Making connections between concepts
